Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and post customer payments (cash, checks, credit cards, online/website payments).
  • Match and verify direct-to-consumer online payments and ensure data accuracy.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies in partnership with inventory and warehouse teams.
  • Investigate account variances by gathering information from sales, customer service, trade promotions, and customers.
  • Enter adjusting entries for valid deductions; follow procedures for invalid deductions.
  • Review payment plans, payment history, and coordinate with collections when needed.
  • Maintain accurate customer files and protect sensitive information.
  • Assist with additional accounting projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines despite interruptions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
